About Mathematically Speaking
Mathematically Speaking, Inc. was founded in 2007 by educators with years of teaching experience at the elementary, secondary, and college levels. They also have served as math supervisors and administrators and have expertise in pedagogy and curriculum development.
The motivation for developing MathShapes: go figure! was simple — to provide adults with the information they need to help their children. We wanted to create a family-friendly, standards-based program that helps everyone to think, explain, and write mathematically.
